Quick navigation
Core principles
- Clean, respectful driving comes first.
- No loophole hunting — rules are applied for fair competition.
- Race Control decisions are final (even if you disagree).
- Stint24 follows the iRacing Sporting Code, plus the additional rules below.
Registration & eligibility
- Entry = one car, in one class. Each entry runs as an iRacing Team.
- Teams can register for the full season or race-by-race (when available).
- Rating tiers are based on the team’s average iRating:
- Cars & classes (Season 1 default): GTP, LMP2, GT3 (special events may add GT4 / Porsche Cup, etc.).
- Drivers must meet minimum license / SR requirements (published per season).
- Attendance confirmation is required for each race. Repeated no-shows without notice can cost you your spot.
Event format (practice / quali / race)
- Each round includes: practice/warm-up, qualifying, and the race. Exact times are published in the Drivers’ Briefing.
- Hosted defaults (unless briefing states otherwise): EU servers, rolling start, dynamic weather (rain if supported), fast repairs off, no driving aids except auto-clutch.
- Qualifying can be:
- standard qualifying, or
- segmented by class (only the announced class may leave pit lane during its segment).
- Start procedure: rolling start, class-separated grid (GTP then LMP2 then GT3). Pole of the leading class controls the pace within the briefing’s speed/acceleration rules.
- Driver time rules: each event defines min/max drive time per driver and any extra restrictions.
- Classification: to score points/prizes you must meet the event’s driver-count + drive-time rules and complete a minimum % of the winner’s class distance (otherwise you may be marked NC).
On-track conduct
- Racing room: when alongside, you must leave space. You can’t force cars off track/over lines to defend.
- Rejoins: rejoin safely and predictably (use relative/spotter, wait off-line if needed). Unsafe rejoins can get heavy penalties.
- Track limits: default is iRacing off-tracks, with any stricter exceptions stated in the Drivers’ Briefing. Systematic abuse can be penalised.
- Passing & blue flags: lapped cars don’t need to jump off track, but must be predictable and cooperate once an overtake is clearly initiated. Excessive blocking/reactive moves are penalised.
- Pit lane safety: respect pit speed, no unsafe merges, no pit limiter exploits.
Communication
- Discord is the official hub for announcements, entry lists, grids, penalties, and results:
Join the Stint24 Discord - Team Managers are responsible for keeping drivers informed.
- In-sim text/voice should be kept to an absolute minimum during qualifying and the race (no spam/macros).
- DMs to staff are not considered official communication unless explicitly confirmed.
Race Control, stewarding & penalties
- Official races are overseen by Race Control, who may issue penalties, order cars to pit/retire, or remove unsafe drivers.
Season 1 note: we will try to keep stewarding live by having moderators check in during races.
Teams will signal incidents via Discord in the designated channel (Team Manager/Lead).
Realistically, most decisions may still be handled post-race, especially early on or for complex cases.

- Want to help? If you’d like to volunteer as a steward/mod, we’d be extremely grateful — more coverage = more live stewarding.
- Incident reports are normally filed by the Team Manager (or a designated driver) within the briefing’s protest window (often 30–60 minutes).
- Penalties may include: warning, time penalty, drive-through/stop-go (if live), grid drop, points deduction, lap deduction/reclassification, DQ, suspension/ban.
Championship points
- Separate championships run per class (GTP/LMP2/GT3) and tier (AM/AM-Pro/Pro).
- Points are awarded per race by finishing position in class. The exact points table is published separately.
- Only classified finishers score points. Season ties are broken by most wins, then most 2nds, then most 3rds, then best single race result.
Media & content
- Stint24 may use race footage, screenshots, and results for promotion of the series.
- Offensive / illegal / problematic content (names, liveries, messages) is not tolerated and may require changes or lead to sanctions.
