Prizes

Stint24 uses a simple model: we take the net entry revenue (after VAT + payment fees),
then return a large share back to drivers as prize money. The more entries we get, the bigger the prize pool.

At a glance

75–85%
of net entry revenue goes back as season prize money

1–5%
per race reserved for bonus payouts (per class)

27 payouts
3 classes × 3 tiers × top 3 each (season prizes)

1) What goes into the prize pool

We calculate prizes from net entry revenue:

  • Season pass (main entry)
  • Race tickets (per race)

From that net revenue, we allocate:

  • season prize pool (the big one)
  • per-race bonus pool (paid every event)
  • the remainder covers operations + a small safety buffer (hosting, tools, payments, admin)

2) Season prize pool distribution

Season prizes are paid per class and per tier.
We use a fixed % split so it stays predictable and fair.

Classes

Season prize money is split across the active classes (typically GTP / LMP2 / GT3).

Tiers (season 1 model)

Inside each class, the pool is split by tier share:

Tier Share of class pool
AM 22%
AM/Pro 33%
Pro 45%

Paid positions

We pay the top 3 of each tier in each class (P1 / P2 / P3).
That’s where the “27 payouts” comes from: 3 classes × 3 tiers × 3 positions.

Position split (season 1 model)

Tier P1 P2 P3
AM 45% 30% 25%
AM/Pro 50% 35% 15%
Pro 50% 35% 15%

3) Per-race bonus pool (paid every event)

Every race reserves 1–5% of that race’s net entry revenue as a Race Bonus Pool.
This is paid per class:

  • 65% – Fewest Incident Points (per class)
  • 35% – Fastest Lap (per class)

Notes:

  • Fewest Incident Points uses iRacing incident points for the race. Lowest wins. Ties are broken by best finishing position.
  • Fastest Lap must be set during the race and count as a valid lap.

4) Entry fees used in the calculator (season 1 example)

Item Amount
Season pass (AM) €25
Season pass (AM/Pro) €25
Season pass (Pro) €30
Race ticket (per race) €7

5) Prize calculator (Spreadsheet)

This is the calculator we use internally. It shows the inputs (fees, prize pool %, tier shares),
then outputs the season pool, per-class pools, and the per-race bonus payouts.

Stint24 prize calculator spreadsheet
prize calculator overview (season 1 example): inputs → season pool → per-class/tier payouts → per-race bonuses
What you’re looking at:

  • Global inputs: number of races, % returned to prize pool, bonus allocation %, active classes
  • Tier shares: how each class pool is split between AM / AM-Pro / Pro
  • Entries & fees: season pass amounts and the race ticket
  • Season overview: revenue per race, cumulative totals, season prize total
  • Race bonus payout: 65% fewest incidents + 35% fastest lap (per class)
